Escrima Sticks
Escrima Sticks make a great training weapon. Two sticks are used like short swords. But there is less danger than using real swords and are better to learn with than shotos or smaller size bokkens. The smooth round diameter give more opportunities for you to learn defensive maneuvers.
Escrima sticks or eskrima sticks are often made of a wood called rattan. Rattan is a light wood than instead of braking and splintering, it will crack. This gives the user a safer practicing experience.
